Chemical and paint automation systems in textile dye houses have two main working principles as multiple and single line. Both methods have their own advantages. The comparison related to the subject is found in the following table:
MULTIPLE LINE SYSTEM
SINGLE LINE SYSTEM
Chemical Input
Robotic chemical connect and separation system.
With the valves lined in order on the collector
Dye Machines Output
Robotic independent line for each machine.
Valves lined on a single line.
Risk related to chemical intervention
It provides full security as the lines are separated physically
It is controlled by opening different valves on the same collector and with the emerged leakage sensor.
Risk related to machine intervention
It provides full security as the lines are separated physically.
Opening different valves on the same collector and the emerged intervention are controlled with sensor.
Leak emerged due to corrosion of the input valve
Leak only causes drip on the floor as the lines are separated physically.
Leak is not observed from outside and chemicals are mixed up in.
Leak emerged due to corrosion of the input valve
There is no risk related to leak as there is no valve in the output.
The chemical sent to any machine is mixed up in another machine on the same line.
Facility Installation in the factory
It is easily installed with flexible polyethylene pipes. It is safe as there is no attachment.
Stainless steel line is installed; each valve is installed to the line. It needs a careful connection with joints.
Inner plant maintenance
No maintenance is needed as there is no part working.
Valves and commanding pneumatic mechanism need controlling periodically.
Maintenance on the color kitchen part
Eye check is sufficient.
Valves connected to the connector should be disassemble and undergo a leak test.
Advantage
Safe and easy installation.
More convenient for sample and piece painting machines.

Price
Multiple line system is expensive at a ratio of 20-30% relative to single line, it varies on chemical and machine number.
